Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the SustainAbility School, an E-learning platform operated by the Sustainable Romania Coalition Association, headquartered at 7 Benjamin Franklin Street, Sector 1, Bucharest, registered with the Trade Register under number J40/926/2009, VAT ID RO25004202.
This document (T&Cs) contains the description of the terms and conditions of use of the E-learning platform of the SustainAbility School. As further detailed below, these terms and conditions apply to Students being registered as users of the E-learning platform of the SustainAbility School.
When creating an Account on the platform, Students are explicitly asked to read and accept these T&Cs, outlining purchasing and accessing SustainAbility School webinars. Please read them carefully before creating an Account and making a purchase. If for any reason this is not the case, accessing an Account held at the platform, uploading data to any Account, and/or using any of the Services connected to the platform will still be considered as implicit acceptance of these T&Cs.
Please also note that acceptance of these T&Cs also implies that you have read, understood and accepted the platform Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy,
These T&Cs are also intended to define certain obligations, commitments and allocations of responsibility for the SustainAbility School as online webinars Provider from a Data Protection perspective.
1. Rights and Obligations of the SustainAbility School
1.1. Rights:
SustainAbility School has the right to modify the training program and materials, at any time for its better implementation and to facilitate access to the services offered to platform Users.
SustainAbility School has the right to adjust pricing based on economic factors and new content additions, Users will be informed one month in advance of any price increases.
1.2. Obligations:
SustainAbility School undertakes to provide high level services, in compliance with the legal norms and methodologies in force, emphasizing the quality of professional webinars.
SustainAbility School undertakes to ensure webinars materials, technical access or other similar resources necessary to carry out professional education via E-learning platform.
SustainAbility School undertakes to hold all authorizations and to meet all legal conditions necessary to provide the services offered.
In the event of substantial changes to the services offered, SustainAbility School undertakes to immediately inform the Users of the respective changes.
SustainAbility School undertakes to award certificates to the Students, upon completion of the studies.
SustainAbility School undertakes to immediately notify the platform Users of any unforeseen changes occurring during the period of provision of the services.
2. Rights and Obligations of the platform Users
2.1. Rights:
The platform User has the right to receive the services ordered and paid for in accordance with the SustainAbility School T&Cs.
The User has the right to receive the documents attesting the participation/completion of sustainability webinars and education program.
The User has the right to file complaints or notifications regarding any problem arising in connection with the services provided by SustainAbility School.
2.2. Obligations:
The User undertakes to have a civilized conduct in relation to the SustainAbility School and to understand that inappropriate behavior or attitude may lead to the refusal to provide the services provided.
The User undertakes to pay for the subscription within the agreed payment term and amount, which will be displayed on the E-learning platform, after selection of choice.
The User undertakes to bring to the SustainAbility School attention any problem related to the services provided/provided.
The User engages not to record the webinars included in the educational service by any audio-video technical means.
3. Program Overview
SustainAbility School is an E-learning platform dedicated to education in sustainable management, providing leaders and professionals from various industries with the necessary tools to transform sustainability challenges into opportunities for growth, innovation and positive impact. The platform redefines sustainability learning, adapting content for the current needs of leaders in business, education, non-governmental organizations, and public administration.
From foundational knowledge to department-specific strategies, the webinars in the E-learning platform are structured in 3 levels of education designed to guide step by step in the domain of sustainable management, learn from the world’s experts in sustainable development.
Webinars are structured in three levels of education complexity:
- Level 1: Basics of Sustainability
- Level 2: Sustainability in Business
- Level 3: Specialized Modules:
- Sustainability for Procurement and Operations
- Sustainability for Marketing and Communications
- Sustainability for Human Resources
- Sustainability for Finance
- Sustainability for Environmental Departments.
To help participants make the right purchasing decisions, each webinar has a detailed description, key takeaways (what you will learn from it), speaker bio, and an up to 3-minutes video teaser.
The content on the E-learning platform is being constantly updated, by adding new webinars of actuality available for Students.
4. Access to the Site
In order to access the products and services made available through the E-learning platform, you must create a personal account on the Site. To this end, please adequately complete the necessary steps to create the account.
The account can be accessed based on an access password, which only you know. You are fully responsible for keeping the access password and any information regarding registration, authentication and use of the account safe.
Any individual, regardless of nationality, with a minimum age of 18 years at the date of account creation, can create an account on the Site. Any access to the Site by minors directly or through their guardians/legal representatives is done at their own risk.
The Site may only be used for viewing, creating an account, accessing a personal account, accessing information, webinars and afferent materials on the Site, for evaluating and recommending our services. Our Site may not be used to make any illegal or fraudulent payment, to post or transmit any material with defamatory, threatening, obscene, indecent, inflammatory or similar content. We reserve the right not to allow the posting and/or to delete immediately and without prior notice any comment on the Site that contains inappropriate language, serious spelling errors or that could harm our image and/or create a state of discomfort for us, the authors of the materials on the Site or our customers and visitors. You are fully responsible for any operation and/or payment made from your account using the Site.
We cannot guarantee the continuous and uninterrupted use of the Site. It is possible that errors, defects, viruses or other harmful behaviors may occur on the Site or on servers that make it unavailable. We will do our best to limit and eliminate such unpleasant events as soon as possible. You have no right to interfere with the operation of our Site or to take any intervention measures on our computer equipment, regardless of the reason and regardless of the result obtained.
Any individual who wishes, may Sign up on the Site by creating an Account, completing the required registration steps.
To register, you will be asked to enter your first and last name, email address and password. You are fully responsible for keeping your password and any information regarding registration, authentication and use of your account secure.
Educational materials on the Site are available as webinars and bundles for purchase individually or in curated packages based on levels and modules.
Purchased content is available for one year from the date of purchase.
Buyers who purchase a bundle at the beginning of the year will also gain access to any new content added within that category during their subscription period.
After one year, subscriptions may be renewed automatically, with price adjustments based on economic factors and new additions. Subscribers will be notified at least one month in advance of any price changes. Subscribers may choose not to renew their subscription before the renewal date.
Regardless of what is stated elsewhere in these T&Cs, an Account remains open and operational until: (i) the reference person of such Account terminates such Account; (ii) We determine that such Account has become inactive or in any case that there are no longer reasons to keep the relevant data stored; or (iii) We determine to sanction a violation of these T&Cs by terminating such Account.
5. Free Trial Policy
Users are entitled to access one free webinar of their choice for 24 hours. This allows potential buyers to experience our content before making a purchase decision. By using this free trial, users can assess the quality and format of our materials.
6. Payment Policy
Payments are processed via Stripe and can be made using a valid credit or debit card.
Full payment is required upfront to access webinars or bundles.
All transactions are final; however, a refund policy applies under specific conditions.
7. Right of withdrawal
Withdrawal from the education program provided by the SustainAbility School can be done with a simple notification, by Email to the address: [email protected]. We will take over and process your notification as soon as possible.
The right of withdrawal is operated within a maximum of 14 calendar days calculated from the date of registration on the El-learning platform (according to art. 9 para. 2 letter a) of OUG 34/2014) and can be used only once. Specifically, we do not allow successive registrations with successive withdrawals.
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you only need to communicate your unequivocal intention to us by Email to: [email protected] . Please provide us with your full details and the name of the webinar/s you wish to withdraw from.
As soon as possible, you will receive a confirmation of the registration of your withdrawal request by Email. The withdrawal request will be received only if you comply with the 14 calendar day deadline from the date of registration.
However, the withdrawal request will only be accepted if you have not previously registered any such request on our E-learning platform.
Eligibility for withdrawal:
- The request is made within 14 days from the date of purchase.
- The User has not watched more than 50% of the content in a bundle.
- The User has not downloaded the presentations or materials that support the webinar.
Not Eligible for withdrawal:
- The User has watched more than 50% of the purchased content.
- The User has downloaded any materials associated with the webinar.
- If the request is made after 14 days from the date of purchase.
By taking advantage of the free webinar trial, Users can evaluate the quality of our content before making a purchase. Therefore, withdrawal requests made in bad faith (e.g., consuming significant content and then requesting withdrawal) will not be accepted.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All platform content, including video webinars, presentations, and materials, is the intellectual property of SustainAbility School.
Users are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and view purchased content.
Recording, sharing, reproducing, or distributing any content without prior authorization is strictly prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
By creating and using the Account, you assume responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of the Account data (username and password) and for managing access to the Account, being responsible under the law for the activity carried out through the Account.
By accessing the Site, creating the Account and using the Site, you expressly and unequivocally accept the Site Terms and Conditions in its latest version communicated within the Site. After creating the Account, using the content is equivalent to accepting the changes made to the Site Terms and Conditions and/or updated versions of the Site Terms and Conditions. You are responsible for checking the final version of the Terms and Conditions whenever you use the Site.
Acceptance of the Site Terms and Conditions is considered fulfilled upon first accessing the Site.
SustainAbility School assumes no liability for any loss (material, financial, data or information) that may arise directly or indirectly from the information included on the Site or the non-functioning or improper functioning of this Site, due to external factors (e.g., internet outages, third-party service disruptions, etc.).
SustainAbility School is not responsible for damage to your computer or viruses that may infect your computer or other equipment as a result of your access, use or browsing of our Site or your downloading of any content, information, materials, data, text, images, video or audio from our Site.
This disclaimer applies to any damage or injury caused by any lack of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access.
We do not guarantee specific results from consuming our educational content.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute related to the present T&Cs concerning their application, binding nature, interpretation, whether directly or indirectly, shall be governed by the law of Romania.
11. Final Provisions
This Site is owned by the Sustainable Romania Coalition Association, which grants you the right to access and use the Site subject to your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By accessing and using the Site, you automatically and unequivocally agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions on the Site.
The Sustainable Romania Coalition Association has the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice, by posting the updated version on the Site. You are required to read the Terms and Conditions whenever you access the Site. You are required to strictly comply with the Terms and Conditions on the Site and you cannot claim ignorance of the Terms and Conditions on the Site, valid at the date of accessing, using and/or placing an order on the Site.
The Site Administrator reserves the right to modify the structure and interface of any page or subpage of the Site at any time and at any freely chosen time interval.
The present Terms and Conditions are supplemented by special aspects or provisions contained in the description of the products/services available on the Site. In the event of any contradictions between the Terms and Conditions and the special provisions mentioned above, the special provisions shall take precedence.
